ROW Acquisition Agent – Remote Position
Synergy Land Services Ltd. (Synergy) is currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our busy team as a ROW Acquisition Agent, supporting various projects in the BC Lower Mainland area, with travel to project areas on an as-needed basis. This fully remote position is for a one-year contract with the opportunity to renew.

Experience
The successful applicant must have a minimum of three years of working knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Job Responsibilities
- negotiating and acquiring agreements with various stakeholders
- mitigating and resolving potential land issues
- preparing acquisition documents
- coordinating communication among all stakeholders, including municipalities, planning departments, councillors, residents, and community associations
- maintaining thorough documentation of all project activities
- liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure overall project success and completion
- reporting on project status, ensuring compliance with mutually agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and other deliverables
- organizing and attending public meetings as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- preference for candidates with a R/W-NAC or SR/WA designation through the International Right of Way Association (IRWA)
- minimum 3 years of industry-related experience
- valid Commissioner for Taking Affidavits
- experience in appraisal and valuation
- experience and competency in the use of the BC Land Titles system
- high level of integrity when working with confidential documents and information
- related multi-discipline experience is welcome (real estate, land administration, property law, urban planning)
- self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
- ability to quickly learn new tasks
